About
Greenfield Physical Therapy meets you where you are at with a fully telehealth practice. We help individuals across the state of California, utilizing the best available evidence to treat a variety pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions. As one of the only clinics in the country to have a male physical therapist that specializes in pelvic health, the clinic was founded initially to help men with pelvic floor dysfunction find a practitioner they may feel more comfortable with.
We operate as an Out of Network practice because we believe that insurance is a barrier to providing quality care. With this model we are able to provide direct one on one care, treat multiple body parts/symptoms, and get you into treatment within a week. We are able to provide a superbill which you may submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement, however Greenfield Physical Therapy is not responsible for insurance reimbursement.
Meet the Founder
Dr. Jake Greenfield is the owner of Greenfield Physical Therapy and practices as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California. He received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and his doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. Through further training and education with Herman & Wallace, he has become a specialist in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction for men and women.
Dr. Greenfield has been working at a community health group in San Diego, treating pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions. At this clinic he helped pilot a telehealth pelvic floor program to treat a variety of patients and address their pelvic dysfunction without ever stepping inside the clinic. This inspired him to create his own telehealth practice to reach more people across the state of California without the restrictions of insurance.
Dr. Greenfield feels passionate about helping individuals without requiring them to undergo an internal assessment which may be stressful for patients. Dr. Greenfield treats the full body utilizing exercise, behavior modification, and cognitive retraining to address the physical, psychological, and social aspects of an individual’s chief complaints and help them reach their goals.
